What is Launch?
Launch is a two year discipleship training initiative that will equip you to make disciples like Jesus did. Through this process, you will learn to develop a culture of discipleship within your church community. Launch will help you understand what it means to be a disciple and how to make disciples regardless of your context. Whether you are an established pastor or church planter, from the city or small town, our callings are the same: “Go, make disciples!” Launch is the beginning of seeing your community transformed.
Why Launch?
This post-pandemic world has brought all kinds of new challenges to churches, one of the largest of which is discipleship. With pandemic problems from gathering restrictions and being online to reengaging people, discipleship has taken a backseat. At Launch we want to help you reestablish a discipleship culture within your church.
How Launch Works
Over the two years we will train you and your church to implement four key movements: Engage the Gospel; Establish a Discipleship Culture; Equip Your Community; and Empower Multiplication. These movements are important and the order is intentional. We first start by grounding everything we do in Jesus and his gospel. Out of the gospel flows Christ’s mission. Once we get our churches grounded in the gospel and mission, then we can begin to adjust church structures. Finally, a church structured around Christ’s gospel and mission can create pathways for multiplication to flow naturally.
The chart above indicates the movements of our two year process. We will have a two day training immersion every six months with coaching for the six months in between. You will meet every other week on zoom with one of our Launch coaches, walking through the material presented in the immersion along with assigned reading. Coaching is done in cohorts. This means you will be coached together with a group of leaders from similar church environments, getting to know your group and supporting one another as you advance through the process.
Launch is Unique
We don't just gather you every six months for a two day conference and leave you to it. We walk alongside you with coaching every other week to help you continue to grow in your process. Our coaches really invest in your situation and story so that you are put in the best situation to see lives changed in your community.
Launch Multiplies Disciples
Over 70 churches have gone through Launch. Every church who participated reported having a vision and plan for multiplication. Churches were planted, discipleship groups were started, and missional communities were established.
Launch Transforms Churches
Evangelism
Churches reported seeing their church members grow in evangelizing by 70%. A 30% increase in salvations and baptisms was seen in churches from the two years they were in our process.
Discipleship
Churches doubled in the area of discipleship. This encompasses a wide range of groups, from small groups and discipleship communities to intentional evangelism, mentoring, youth ministry and more.
Kingdom Engagement
Churches were equipped to understand their context. Barriers that prevented the Gospel to reach their communities were identified and bridges for Gospel movement were established.
